Most of our products are made with pure African Shea Butter. The Shea Butter used in these products are fair trade and sourced from Ghana.
Meet The Maker
My name is Shawnell and I was born and raised in Southern Illinois. I relocated to Atlanta shortly after graduating from SIUC.
I started buying Raw Shea butter because it was the only thing that helped with my dry skin & psoriasis. I had a coworker that introduced me to whipped body butter and I fell in love! I loved the fact that it was smooth, creamy, and easy to put on. I would always go back to my coworker and ask her to make bigger jars.
Soon I begin mixing and experimenting on my own at home and boom...that's how Shea Rootz came about. I'm doing what I love and I'm also helping others that may want a more natural way to treat their skin. All products are natural and handmade. Every single product is made with quality ingredients and a pure heart.🧡
